I'm wanting to know all your favorite 'unique' night spots (cafe/bar/hof/pubs) in Bundang/Seongnam (Migeum station and north). I guess unique can really mean anything. I don't mean places like WaBar...if you know what I mean. I live in Jeongja now and would like to find some cool places for after work enjoyment. Maybe a cool wine/jazz bar or something at the opposite spectrum like Woodstock in Gangnam.

I'm a big fan of Woodstock (not affiliated with the chain, I think?) in Yatap.
It's owned by a really decent guy named Mr. Lee who can play Dire Straits like nobody's business. There are drums and a piano and some microphones and guitars for anyone who feels like jamming, plus plenty of vinyls to choose from if you'd prefer something a little more professional. It's up the hill from the subway station and then down into the basement - it actually feels like you're hanging out in your friend's parent's basement (you know, the cool parents who let you call them by their first names and drink coolers in Grade 9). Drinks are a bit pricey but it's always relatively empty and there's a norae bang machine in case you can't play but want to sing.

Geckos is open in Jukejon now.Its the same bar thats in Itaewon. Its a really good place for foreigner food in Bundang and there are more foreigners going there as they here about it. Food is expensive but you can get drink drinks by the glass.
(Sorry I always go with people and dont know directions). Last edited by BundangJill; 03-09-2010 at 12:46 AM. Reason: no directions |
