Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to set up a paypal account and have it linked to my Korean bank account (KEB)? I want to shop online and prefer to use paypal. I could set up a paypal account to my Canadian account but don't want to as then I would have to send money home to fill paypal account. Plus since I want to shop mainly on US sites, I would get burned on exchange rate (Korean Won to Canadian Dollars to US dollars), I'd rather one exchange. Can I do it? How do I do it? I want it for shopping only, I have no interest in sending money home via paypal, if that makes a difference. Thanks! |

Yes it is possible. I have a paypal account setup with my korean bank account. Just go to the paypal site and add an account if you already have a paypal account. If you don't have one then just follow the instructions on the site. It's pretty easy to setup.

I believe it depends on your Visa type? You're like F-4 right, TIS? I could not do it with my Korean account on an E-7, so mine has to go through my Australian account.
